💡 Improving Quora with respect to User Engagement (Daily Active Users)
✅ What is Quora?
Quora is a platform to ask questions and connect with like minded people. It is very famous among the millennials but not limited to them. Quora users tend to ask questions for their lifestyle issues, trending social issues, career related queries etc on the platform.
Some relevant statistics on the Quora Users (Demandsage, 2022) -
- Over 35% of Americans Use Quora.
- More Than 65% of Users of Quora are highly educated.
- There are 45% of users who belong to the age group of 18 to 24 and 32% of users belong to the age group of 25 to 34.
✅ What would ‘improvement in engagement with respect to daily active users’ mean for Quora?
Daily active users are the total no. of users who engage with the product in someway on a given day. At an average users spend 3:58 Minutes of their daily life on Quora (Demandsage, 2022).
As far as monthly active users are concerned, In comparison with other social media platforms in the space, Quora has the lowest number of active users 300 Million (Statista, 2022).

- Increase in no. of users coming to the platform daily.
- Increase in user spent time at an average 3:58 minutes on the platform.
- With the increase, Quora should be able to beat direct competitors in the active users metrics.
- Platforms like Reddit and Twitter play in the same space that of Quora. They have the same audience base of literate youth in the age group of 18 - 35 years. The platforms are also majorly text based and gradually introducing more video and audio functionalities.
- Having the same audience and similar content in a structured manner gives Quora the opportunity to get competitive advantage over them with further innovation in the content consumptions.
